On Friday the 23 of October  2015 President Jacob Zuma announced that there will be no fees increase in 2016. That's not the reason why students were striking because all they need is free education not what the government was proposing. In freedom charter everyone has a right to free education but still they are many students who struggling to get education because they can’t afford it.

The Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande have enough time to come up with the solution to free education to all, but still nothing have been done. Early August 2016 the minister was unable to come up with the answer, whether they will be fee increase in 2017 as they can’t afford free education to all. In university of Kwazulu Natal and University of Cape Town they are striking for free education to all and as from October 2016 they should be starting their final exam. Government must come up with solution soon because universities building are being burned down by angry students.

After 22 years of democracy people where promised free education to all but still only rich can afford tertiary fees in this. The ruling parties that have been ruling this country since 1994 but still there is no free education yet. The members of parliament are earning lot of money annually that can cover education. Even through our economy is struggling at the moment but our government can provide free education to all if they cut down their costs. The  government don’t care about people who  put them in their position .All they care about is making money for themselves and their families. They are also over spending country’s money in useless thing than education.

Free education can rise our stand of education to this country because learners will word hard because they will know that they are not paying .This can also reduce stress from learners who were struggling to pay for fees .They will have nothing to worry about but to focus on their studies. Many students are dropping out from universities every year not that they don’t want to learn but because their parents can’t afford the fees.

The same government we vote for is the one making people sure .They makes empty promises they can’t keep. Education system of South African is struggling not because we don’t have smart people but they can’t show that because they are not given opportunities to learn. They will be no better future for youth of today because they wouldn’t be educated. The government is one destroying many futures because they can’t provide what people can’t afford.

In the next coming years South Africa will be struggling because they will not have people from this country to develop it .People from outside will take over this country because they will be more skilful and more educated than us. The government will then complain but they will be one who causes the situation. They don’t think about the future of this country when they take decision that will affect the country in future. People who are the future of this country are struggling they maintain their education even though is one of their rights.

Student should continue to fight for their freedom in terms of education if they want to see themselves developing this country. They are the only one who can change the future of this country to better. They should stand up for their rights and fought for what they deserve .Education shouldn’t be expensive so that everyone can afford it because this country need educated people to run this. Not only rich should get quality education whereas other will forever struggling in poverty .South Africa should provide free education to all .
